Check out our Scooter FAQ for answers to have your scooter questions answered. WHERE CAN I TAKE MY SCOOTER?Q. Can I ride my MobilityPlus scooter outside?A. Yes our MobilityPlus scooters are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Q. Can I ride my MobilityPlus scooter in the rain? A. Yes with some conditions, it is not recommended to take out your scooter on very wet days or through long wet grass. Care should also be taken to drive around or slowly through large puddles. Q. Can I ride my MobilityPlus scooter on the road? A. Only to cross the road, the scooter is a “pedestrian mobility device” and is intended for use on footpaths whenever possible. Q. Can I park my MobilityPlus scooter inside the home? A. Yes, MobilityPlus scooters are equipped with sealed lead acid batteries designed for indoor use. CAPABILITIES:Q. How far can I go on one full charge of batteries?A. That depends on certain conditions like terrain, weather conditions, riders weight and age of the batteries. Your manual will say more, or feel free to contact us, but generally you can count on 20-25Kms to be safe. Q. How long do the batteries last for on my MobilityPlus scooter? A. This is depends on how often they are charged and the type of use you give your scooter but generally they should last 1-3 years if they are used properly. GETTING ON THE ROAD:Q. Do I need a license to ride my MobilityPlus scooter?A. No license is required to use your scooter and as an aid we provide you with a helpful keeping mobile booklet on how to use your MobilityPlus scooter safely provided by Land transport “free” Q. How do I learn to ride my new MobilityPlus scooter? A. As part of the purchase, we will spend time with you and teach you how to ride your scooter, and all it’s functions. You should feel comfortable and confident with your new scooter. Q. What happens if I have a problem on the side of the road? No problem, call “AA roadside service” (which is included for 12 months with your purchase) who will get you home. Then phone us to arrange to have your scooter looked at. Q. How often should my MobilityPlus scooter be serviced? We recommend you service your scooter after xx months, and then every xx months. As part of your purchase, we offer ________ free services. Q. Do you sell accessories for my MobilityPlus scooter? A. Yes, we stock many different accessories which we can fit for you. See our Accessories page for a list of what’s available. WARRANTIES AND FINANCE:Q. Do you have finance deals available?A. Yes, Finance options are available to approved purchasers through GE Money for as little as $xx per week. .
